What is Song Journals?
Song Journals is a fun project where users share the memories and thoughts invoked by songs. It is a project of Wasabi Ventures LLC, a venture capital firm and holding company.
Music plays a big role in bringing out lots of memories, when a certain song plays it reminds you of a situation, place, celebration etc, you were in when you listened to it for the first time. SongJournals is a place for all those great songs and great memories. Just find your songs and share your story with friends, or with the whole world. Or, you can catch up on some old favorites, and see how they changed other people's lives.
1. Page Display
To begin using the Song Journals application, input this address in your web browser URL http://www.songjournals.com. The page shown below will always be dispalyed.
The page display is summarized as follows.
-The Page Header/Top Panel houses the logo of Song Journals application 
. The logo acts as a link to the home page of the application, thus whenever you click on the logo, you will be directed to the homepage.
-There is also a Search engine on the page header, if you have any song or artist in mind that you would like to search for, you can input it then click on the go button. You will see extended parameters which you can use for your search criteria. You can search by profile name, song name and/or content of a tale. See the page below for an outlook of the search page.
-Finally we have the Sign In and Forget your password link at the page header. The links are used to sign in to the application and incase you have forgotten your password, you can always ask for a password reset to be sent to your email by clicking on the Forget your password link.
The grey panel hosts Journals, New Song Journal, Help and Registration Link
-Clicking on Journals link, will display all the clips added by users of the SongsJournal application.
-New song Journal link aids you on a step by step of how to create your own song journal.
- Help link offers some basic help on how the application works and how to use some functionalities of the application.
- To start using the application effectively, you are required to register, this is done by clicking on the Registration link.
This panel displays registered users' song journals that have most views as well as most number of comments.
Latest Journals gives a clip view list of the latest journals that registered users have added.
Tag Cloud, gives a list phrases that have been used to describe or tag video clips tagged. Placing the mouse over a phrase, will reveal that it is a link and when you click on it, it will open some of the video clips that have been tagged with phrase.
The page footer has copyright, privacy policy and Terms of use, Follow us on Twitter and About Us .
- If you click on the Privacy Policy you will be directed to the Wasabi Ventures page, that contains information on the privacy policy and terms of use. It is important that you read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use because we value your privacy.

lets you view what other users are saying about the Song Journals and participate in discussions about the application.
-About us gives information about the SongJournals Application and the company behind the project, which is, Wasabi Ventures LLC.
2. Setup
Setup will take you through the basic steps in getting started with Song Journals
- How do I get started with the Song Journals, can I access it from any browser?
Its simple, just input the url http://www.songjournals.com on any browser (firefox, google chrome, internet explorer, opera etc) and you are ready to go.
- How do I create my own Song Journal?
To create your own Song Journal you need to register, after registering, click on the new song Journals menu and follow the steps provided to create a new journal. The new song Journal page looks like shown below.
- Can I delete or edit a Song Journal that I have created?
You can delete or edit yout Song Journal from My Profile menu, or from the MyJournal menu. To delete it click on the 
icon and to edit click on the 
icon from My Journals Page.
You can also edit the tag of your clip from MyJournal page
- Can I cancel my Account/Profile?
Yes, you can cancel your profile, to do this, go to the My Profile menu and click on Remove Profile.
- How do I change/edit my profile settings?
If you want to edit your profile, for example, change password, upload/change photo, edit profile etc, you can do it by clicking on the My Profile menu. The page display below is used to edit profile settings.
- I would like to add some few friends who have the same taste of songs as me, how do I do that?
You can add friends in your song journals account. A simpler way to do it, is to check on the songs added by other users, click on the user name. It will open the user's song journal profile.
